Waikato Badminton Association (WBA) is excited to launch its new Player & Coach Development Pathways and Coach Development Framework, designed to elevate badminton in the region for the 2026 season and into the future.

Coach Development Pathway
WBA's coach pathway provides education, ongoing development, and accreditation:
Coaches gain tools for athlete-centred approaches, including adaptations for disabilities, and the required development and experience to apply to be selected for Badminton New Zealand delivery BWF Formal Accreditations.
