2026 Secondary Schools Competition-

Date: Wednesday 22nd April 2026- 1st july 2026 Can be played on Wednesday or Thursdays, Whichever suits schools hosting 9 weeks in term 2

Time: 4pm-5.30pm

Venue: TBC- SCHOOLS TO HOST

Waikato Intermediate Champs 2026

This new initiative is here to help Intermeidiate aged players who are wanting to play in Eiither AIMS Games 2026 or if they are wanting to play against other intermediate aged kids from the region. 

This is a Single's or Double's League only, Kid's may play both if they wish. If competing at AIMS Games we suggest you play with your Double's partner in this league where possible.

In the lead up to this League we also run a series of Non Rep tournaments which are also there to assist with getting a taste of that Tournament environment. There will be a 4th Non Rep tournament after AIMS Games so that this age group has something to finish off thier badminton year with for 2026.

Dates: Monday 27th July 2026- Monday 31st August 2026

Times: 5.30pm-7pm

Venue: Waikato Badminton Association- 60 Old Farm Road, Hamilton East, Hamilton 3216

Grades: Div 1- For those who have played before or heading to AIMS To be competitive and Div 2 are for those who havent played much before and may be heading to AIMS in a more participation level focus

  • Boys Single's- Div 1 and Div 2
  • Girls single's- Div 1 and Div 2
  • Boys double's- Div 1 and Div 2
  • Girls double's- Div 1 and Div 2

Costs: Single's $25 per player

  • Double's- $40 per pair
