JUNIOR EMERGING + JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT

Trainings will be on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 4.00 – 5.30pm – we ask you turn up ready to start your warm-up at 4.00pm

Costs for this group are $850 for the February to September (term 1 – 3)

Trainings will start on 10th February

Off-court opportunities for this year for this group are:

• Offer to attend athlete workshops across the year

• Open to attend the fitness testing across the year

• Access to a Personal Trainer created strength + conditioning programme

• Invite to attend 1 x strength and conditioning session per week

• Player development plan created individually and with a coach

• Open to being selected for the NZJTC heading to Palmerston North in the term 2 holidays

Previously called junior 3 in 2024

You can choose the day you would like to train on and how many you would like your child to do each week. Options are:

• Mondays – 4.00 – 5.30pm at Waikato Badminton

• Tuesdays – 4.00 – 5.30pm at TOE Gym (TG Block) – Gate 4 (Hillcrest Road) at Waikato University – WKO Uni – FOE GYM Gate 4 Hillcrest Road

• Wednesdays – 4.00 – 5.30pm at Waikato Badminton

• Each session will be broken into age groups, so players are working with their own peers and learning skill sets

Costs for this group are dependent on how many training sessions per week

• $150 for 1 x a week training for 1 term

• $250 for 2 x a week training for 1 term

Trainings will start the week of 10th February

This programme will run term by term and WBA will check into sort the registration for the following term with you

Runs on a Friday afternoon

8-week programme starts on 14th February for term 1

Session Time: 4.00 – 5.30pm

All ages welcome

Will be a games night where players will play a range of games against a range of players

Costs for programme are $80 per term

WBA will touch base with you for the next term enrolment

Casual rate is $15 per night you attend – to be paid on the night
