Further to the above awards the 2014 RSL Waikato Championships medals and certificates will be awarded as well as the 2014 Interclub Trophies.

Tomorrow, Saturday 18 October, the second edition of the Waikato Multicultural Council Badminton Championships will be played starting at 9am (players please check in at 8.30am latest) at the Eastlink Badminton Stadium. Please click on the below link to check the draws.
Besides the Summer Junior Club on Thursdays from 4-5.30pm, The Hamilton Badminton Club will also be running a summer Badminton Club on Monday nights from 7-10pm. This is aimed at players aged 16 and over but they will consider younger players so do get in touch with them. Click on link below for the flyer with more info.

The WBA is looking for players in Div 5 Inter-Assoc played in the North Island between April and August (max 4 Sats -this year 3 Sats). Team format – 16 matches: 4 w/m sings, 2 w/m dubs, 4 mixed dubs. Div 5 is for reasonable players who enjoy being socially competitive. Winning team promotes to Div 4.
WBA has teams in Div 1,2 &4 and will add a team to Div 5 if there is sufficient interest. Max 5 men/5 women – extra players go on reserve list.
$100 per player goes towards entry fees, shuttles, uniform and practice courts. Reps are issued with a Waikato tracksuit and a playing shirt, but required to use their own (fully) black shorts or skirts. Peter will finalise the team and advise players by mid-October latest.
